Seawater Desalination System 100LPH High Salty RO Brackish Water Treatment Plant
Brief Introduction of Seawater Desalination System
Seawater desalination machine is designed to make seawater and brackish water with high salt content into high-quality potable water.
Features of Seawater Desalination System
== The integrated design can greatly reduce on-site installation time and installation labor.
== To simplify the process, the feed pump also acts as a backwash pump for sand filtration.
== Absolute precision security filters ensure the safe operation of high pressure pumps and reverse osmosis membranes.
== Use high-pressure hoses to simplify connections, reduce vibration and noise, and partially eliminate the effects of water hammers.
== High desalting seawater reverse osmosis membranes, using anti-pollution technology.
== 304 stainless steel frame, effectively protect the frame from salt spray and leakage of liquid corrosion.
== Easy to use, it can be used like a washing machine. It can regularly add bactericide (such as non-oxidizing bactericide) or detergent to protect the membrane from biological contamination.
== The optional automatic backwash upgrade kit automates the sand filter regeneration.
== The optional UV sterilizer kit can be used as the ultimate guarantee of water production.

Maintaince
Proper maintenance can effectively extend the life of the system.
A. Routine maintenance
1. Regularly backwash the recycled sand filter. We recommend that the pressure difference between the sand and the filtered water exceeds 0.8 bar every 7 days, backwashing and washing once.
2. Replace the pre-filter and the main filter element regularly. We recommend replacing the filter element every 30 days or with a pressure difference of more than 1 bar at the inlet and outlet of a single filter.
Note: It is recommended to use a 3 micron nominal (85% filtration efficiency) or better filter cartridge (usually a meltblown filter cartridge) for the prefilter, and a 10 micron absolute (filter efficiency of 99.9%) or better filter cartridge for the main filter. (usually a folded filter).
3. Regularly use reagents (such as non-oxidizing bactericides or NaOH) to maintain reverse osmosis membranes in low doses.
4. Regularly remove dust and salt from the device.
5. Regular chemical cleaning, it is recommended to perform chemical cleaning every 6 months.
B. Short-term shutdown
After the system is shut down, the CIP pump will automatically flush the system with product water.
Low-dose cleaning agents or bactericides (non-oxidizing) can be added directly to the CIP tank, and maintenance of the RO membrane is automatically completed when the machine is stopped.
Note: Only non-oxidizing biocides (such as NaOH, Na4EDTA, DBNPA, etc.) can be used for reverse osmosis membrane maintenance. Never use oxidizing biocides (such as calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite).
Usually the short-term shutdown is less than 3 days and the system may not be flushed.
C. Long-term downtime
If the system is down for more than 3 days, the system should start for 15 minutes every 3 days and flush the system with fresh water. At the same time, in order to avoid sand filter bio-contamination, sand filter should be backwashed.
If the system is shut down for more than 3 months, the system shall flush with the RO product water containing the maintenance agent and the system shall be started for 15 minutes every 7-10 days and flushed with the RO product water containing the maintenance agent. In the same period, sand filters should be recycled.
If the system is shut down for more than six months, it is recommended that the reverse osmosis membrane be cleaned chemically and then removed and stored separately.
Storage
The equipment should be placed as far as possible or stored in a flat, dry and ventilated place. Ambient temperature during operation: +2℃ to +50℃,storage temperature:-5℃ to +60℃, but the following conditions must be met: the system has been vented; the system's inlet and outlet have been sealed; reverse osmosis The membrane and filter cartridge have been removed and stored separately. Reload the film before starting the system.
Note: The reverse osmosis membrane should be stored in a place without light, dry and ventilated, storage temperature is 5-35℃.
