The desalination of seawater can be carried out by the following process
Membrane separation and desalination/Membrane separation includes two processes:
(1) Reverse Osmosis process
Penetration is a natural phenomenon. The water in the lower concentration of the solution passes through the semi permeable membrane into the higher concentration solution until equilibrium is reached; the reverse osmosis is the use of sufficient pressure to allow the solution (usually water) in the solution to pass through the reverse osmosis membrane A semi permeable membrane) and the direction of the opposite direction of infiltration.
(2) Electro dialysis
Electro dialysis is the use of the characteristics of the current to attract the dissolved ions. When the current is introduced into the salt solution, the salt ions tend to adsorb on the opposite polarity of the electrode. Electro dialysis is specifically used for desalination of beach water. Heat treatment process is to simulate the natural circulation, the water heated to produce steam, and then through the condensation, as the product water (desalination water)

Seawater Desalination System Features:
*The design of the entire reverse osmosis seawater desalination control system is controlled by advanced computer programs at home and abroad, and a distributed sampling control and centralized monitoring operation control system is formed by the programmable controller PLC of the industrial computer operating station.
*Set high and low pressure protection switches and automatic switching devices according to process parameters. When abnormal conductance, flow and pressure occur, automatic switching, automatic interlocking alarm, and shutdown can be realized to protect high-pressure pumps and reverse osmosis membrane elements.
*Frequency conversion controls the start and stop of the high-pressure pump, realizes the soft operation of the high-pressure pump, saves energy consumption, and prevents damage to the high-pressure pump and membrane elements due to water hammer or back pressure. The program is designed to realize low-pressure automatic flushing before and after the reverse osmosis device is turned on and off.
*Especially during shutdown, the meta-stable state of concentrated seawater will transform to precipitate and pollute the membrane surface. Automatic flushing of low-pressure desalinated water can replace concentrated seawater for protection. The film surface is not contaminated, which extends the life of the film.
*The temperature, flow, water quality, output and other related parameters of the system can be displayed, stored, counted, tabulated and printed. The dynamic process flow screen in the monitoring operation is clear and intuitive, and the system control simplifies manual operations to ensure that the system can run automatically, safely and reliably.

There are several kinds of consumables you need to replace regularly.
a. Quartz sand: replaced about every 15 months. 50kg/bag
b. Activated carbon: replaced about every 15 months. 25kg/bag
c. Resin: replaced about every 15 months. 25L/bag
d. PP Filter cartridge: replaced about every 1 month.
e. Ro membrane: replaced about every 2 year.
We suggest you buy 1- 2 years of PP filter cartridges together with machine. Because these PP filter cartridges need to replace every month.
Seawater Desalination System Processing
Process: raw water tank + raw water pump + quartz sand filter + antiscalant system + chemical dosing system+ 1#security filter + 2#security filter + ro system + pure water tank + UV sterilizer(ozone generator) + water supply point
Some parts function:
1. Raw water pump: provide needed pressure for every pre-treatment filter;
2. Quartz sand filter: use fiber glass as housing, fill quartz sand, it can filter big particles impurities, suspended substances, colloids etc. Important to remove iron and sediments you mentioned;^^
3. Antiscalant system: (It is recommended to add H2SO4 to adjust the pH value to avoid CaCO3 precipitation and reduce seawater desalination membrane fouling---cost-effective and no side-effect)
4. Security filter: prevent large particles, bacteria, viruses into RO membrane, accuracy is 5µm;
5. High pressure pump: provide needed working pressure for RO system, ensure production capacity of pure water;
6. RO system: can remove particles, colloids, organic impurities, heavy metal ions, bacteria, virus, heat source etc. harmful substances and 99% dissolved salts.
7. UV sterilizer: can continue to kill bacteria even water fill into bottled,viruses,cell damage,atc...
