When the following pollution characteristics appear (standardized water production decreased by 10-15%, water quality decreased by 10-15% after standardization, or the pressure drop between feed water and concentrated water increased by 10-15%), it indicates that your RO system needs Cleaned.

RO system is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Generally, the acceptable cleaning frequency is once every 3 to 12 months.

|RO cleaning tank: The size of the cleaning tank is required to be able to contain the water discharged from hoses, pipes and pressure vessels; the cleaning tank should be designed to be 100% emptied; it is easy to add and mix cleaning chemicals; it is designed at the outlet of the RO cleaning pump The recirculation pipe has vents, an overflow pipe and a return pipe located near the bottom to ensure that it is not easy to generate foam when using surfactants.|
|RO cleaning pump: When designing the cleaning pump, it should be considered that an appropriate lateral flow rate can be provided to facilitate cleaning of the membrane. For 8-inch membrane elements, the cleaning fluid speed should be controlled at 30 to 40 gpm; for 4-inch membrane elements, the flow rate should be controlled at 8 to 10 gpm. During the cleaning process, the recommended maximum pressure is 60 psi to minimize the amount of water produced during cleaning and reduce the possibility of contaminants re-depositing on the surface of the membrane.|
|Security filter for RO cleaning: A filter with a pore size of 5 to 10 microns is usually used to remove the dirt from the cleaning.|
